Hi, I'm Annie! I'm a recent grad of UBC'20 and digital content creator based in Vancouver, BC. My specialties are in portraits and fashion photography. I am also experienced in social media marketing (PPC) and art direction.

Inspired by the aesthetics of 70s Retro, this project — "Outdoor Living Space" - is promotional content for McRae's upcoming EP. Gold furnitures were incorporated specifically to reflect yellow light. Gold mirrors, light wooden chairs and desks were added to blend in with the dark environment. I wanted to shoot outdoors for natural light, as well, to utilize the trees as a nice pop of colour in the background.
McRae's EP is set to release on all streaming platform in late 2020.

Ethereal Queens was inspired by pastel tones and surreal romanticism. The objective of this project was to incorporate florals and a romantic aesthetic. Soft colours and yellow light were amplified to exaggerate the idea of innocence. The models wore white in order to balance the soft colours of pink and blue in the background.

The Golden Flower S20 Collection is a project that reflects on embracing femininity. Women are so often objectified, and historically, women that have fought back on this action were alienated. This project is a stance against that, a mere reflection of how a woman should be able to embrace her femininity without being sexualized.
This set was created with a pink sheet, a golden frame, and different 4x6 film prints. These objects were all hung up by clips, and with the support of a backdrop stand. Neutral and soft colours were blended together for this result.

The Earth Tones S20 Collection is inspired by how people interact with their physical environment. As a long advocate for sustainable clothing, this project is a reflection of that. I wanted a project to showcase the need for slow fashion; the need to make effortless, eco-friendly, and timeless pieces of art.
For some of the portraits shoots, I used Neewer Background Backdrop clips and a large piece of white fabric to assemble my own backdrop outdoors. I specifically chose white and green to mimic a "clean" and "polish" look.
